The SNETP is steered and monitored by a governing board which provides guidance on how to initiate and push forward the Strategic Research Agenda and the Deployment Strategy.

The executive committee is responsible for running the platform and coordinate different working groups and projects. It is supported by the secretariat.

Four working groups report to the executive committee:

• strategic research agenda,
• deployment strategy,
• education, training and knowledge management and
• task force of the European Sustainable Nuclear Industrial Initiative.

The ‘platform operations’ such as the projects and initiatives implemented in accordance with the strategic research agenda and the deployment strategy, are supported via Euratom Framework Programme or national and regional programmes and initiatives.

Every second year, the general assembly is convened as a means to facilitate the widest involement of interested stakeholders, providing feedback, interaction, networking, and building commitment towards attaining the goals of SNETP.
