The European Commission has just launched a series of public consultations on priorities that should/could be reflected within the next EU Multi-Financial Framework and its Policy areas after 2020.
The following consultations cover key areas for SNETP:
- Stakeholder consultation on the Euratom Research and Training Programme 2021-2025: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/Euratom_21-25
- Public consultation on EU funds in the area of strategic infrastructure: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/2017-eu-funds-strategic-infrastructure
- Evaluation of EU’ strategy on adaptation to Climate Change: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/adaptation2017?surveylanguage=EN
Most of all the other consultations are available here: https://ec.europa.eu/info/consultations_en
All key stakeholders should respond and share their views by mid-February, early March, and early April 2018, as the Commission’s MFF proposal should published by the end of June 2018.
Participating in these consultations are essential elements in the EU-decision making process and they represent a great opportunity for the nuclear sector to share their views. Thank you in advance for your contributions both by completing the questionnaires and uploading position papers in the dedicated EU Survey webpages.
